- Over the years, I have received many requests for brass lids for those who have Delft jars without a lid. Now, I am pleased to offer you authentic brass lids which just arrived from Royal Goedewaagen in the Netherlands, with whom I have partnered since the fall of 2020.

Brand new and handmade especially for Affordably Chic Art. Brass lids all have oxidation on the matte underside, see example photo.
Delft tobacco jars are based on an 18th-century original in the collection at Colonial Williamsburg. The antique jar, which bears the name “Carolina”, was reproduced with the same inscription, and adapted with the names of states known to have grown or exported tobacco in the 18th century.
